Transferring PABX extension numbers between two locations using the ATA SPA3102

I wrote this skill on an old blog, implemented in 2012 when many internal companies were still using analog phone extensions.

The problem was

The problem was that traditional PABX systems lacked Voice-Over IP functionality, relying on Analog Phones at each end of the extension.🙂,

However, we wanted to perform the same function to transfer analog phone/fax numbers so they could ring or receive calls at another location.

The Solution was

Here, I aimed to describe the fundamental concept, which involved analog line extensions transferring over the IP protocol is very simply.

Then, at the top, it was just ‘a few keys’ to the ‘dial plan’ games. Yes, dial plan between the VOIP Gateway and User Agent. The topology description is as follows:
